Mount scored his first competitive goal for Manchester United deep into stoppage time, seemingly delivering a dramatic victory before Brentford equalized moments later.
The season concluded at Wembley Stadium with the FA Cup Final against Manchester City.
Manchester United produced one of their strongest performances of the campaign, defeating their city rivals 2–1 through goals from Alejandro Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo to capture the FA Cup.
For Mount, the trophy represented his first major honor as a Manchester United player and added another prestigious achievement to a career that already included winning the UEFA Champions League with Chelsea.
